8 P.M.

One security officer was injured in the fire at Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas. Clark County fire officials increased the number of toasters found to four -- two in the pool deck area and two on the 17th floor. READ MORE.

6:57 P.M.

One person has been arrested for the fire at Trump International Hotel Wednesday evening. Clark County fire said the fire was set in the bathroom of the pool deck. Officials found two devices -- toasters used to intentionally set fires -- on the pool deck and another on the 17th floor. Fire investigators and Las Vegas police are investigating.

5:32 P.M.

Clark County firefighters extinguished a fire in a women's bathroom at Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas. Firefighters are working to clear smoke after the fire was first reported at 5:03 p.m.

2:45 P.M.

A student is in custody after a gun was found at Findlay Middle School around 10:30 A.M. and caused the school to undergo a soft lockdown. Clark County School District police Captain Ken Young says the eighth-grade student brought a small-caliber handgun on campus. There were no injuries reported.

8:35 A.M.

During a media briefing, police said that this morning's vehicle fire was located to a domestic situation between a husband and wife.

6:10 A.M.

Police and firefighters are on the scene of a vehicle fire near Charleston Boulevard and Hualapai. Motorists should avoid area. Initial reports indicate that homes near the burning vehicle are being evacuated and roads are being closed. The fire may have been set intentionally.

4:36 A.M.

Police say a woman and a man were asleep in a bedroom when the woman woke up to her ex-boyfriend punching her. The other man woke up, grabbed a gun, and fired at the ex-boyfriend, striking him 2 to 3 times. The shooter left before police could arrive.

The victim was transported to a local hospital to be treated.

It happened near Nellis and Las Vegas boulevards shortly before 3:20 a.m.

Neighbors say it's the second shooting at the Estates at Westernaire apartment complex in a matter of weeks.  

"It's gotten to a point where I'm scared to leave my home," says one neighbor, Frankie D.  "I don't even want to check my mail or do laundry."
