The body of a deceased individual was found near Jean on Oct. 8.
It was discovered around 1 p.m. in the desert near Interstate 15 and State Route 161.
The man was identified Oct. 17 as 37-year-old Bruce James Macias of San Fernando, Calif. The coroner said the cause of death is pending the toxicology report.
