UPDATE NOV. 15: Witnesses told police that the male bicyclist was attempting to make a turn onto South Euclid Street when it was hit by a 2016 Ford Transit Connect driving by a 62-year-old man. The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver stayed on the scene and did not show signs of impairment.
This is the 115th traffic-related fatality for 2017. The collision is still under investigation. The Clark County coroner will release name of deceased after relatives have been notified.

A bicyclist is dead after being hit by a taxi near Flamingo Road and Eastern Avenue. Police say the collision happened around 6 p.m.
Motorists should expect delays in that area while police investigate.
