One person has been taken into custody after a barricade overnight.
It happened at a residence in the area of Charleston Boulevard and Bruce Street. The incident began around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say that an individual fired a gun in the neighborhood and then went inside of a residence and refused to come out.
Two adults and a child were able to escape safely but another child was still in the residence during the incident. But, the child was not injured.
Bruce Street was closed during the incident.
