UPDATE JUNE 27: The "Y" returned to the Bally's sign Tuesday, ahead of schedule.

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- A sign at Bally's doesn't quite read like it used to.
The sign seen from the Grand Bazaar Shops is missing the "Y" after someone noticed late Friday that the letter was hanging precariously.
A Bally's spokesperson said since the letter is 300 pounds and could cause serious damage or injuries, Bally's took the letter down to repair it.
Bally's expects the "Y" to be back in place by Wednesday.
