Nevada PEP partnered with the National Bullying Center to host the fifth annual Run, Walk and Roll Against Bullying Saturday.
Organizers of the event hope to raise awareness of the difficulties children face each day.
"Kids with disabilities tend to get bullied as well, if not more," said Trish Leavitt with Nevada PEP. "We want to bring awareness to the community and really stop it together as a community."
All proceeds from the Run, Walk and Roll Against Bullying will go toward Nevada PEP's Bullying Prevention Program.
Nevada PEP offers education, encouragement and empowerment to families who have children with disabilities.
