An Allegiant flight returned to McCarran International Airport Monday afternoon following an oil pressure indicator issue.

Allegiant Flight 490 left Las Vegas for Belleville/St. Louis at 3:56 p.m. and returned to McCarran at 5:01 p.m. due to the oil pressure indicator. The passengers then deplaned at the gate.

There were 125 people on board the plane, including six crew members.

Allegiant said the flight has been rescheduled for Tuesday as Flight 5490, set for a 7:30 a.m. departure from Las Vegas. Passengers have the option to travel on another Allegiant flight without charge. Those who do not live in the area will be provided local hotel accommodations for the night. In addition, all passengers will receive a $150 voucher for future travel with Allegiant.

"We understand that this interferes with the plans of our customers and sincerely apologize for the disruption," Allegiant said in a statement.
