Big changes are expected at one local charter school and parents across the Las Vegas valley will be taking notice.
Professional tennis player Andre Agassi and Gov. Brian Sandoval will appear today at Agassi Prep School to announce plans for the school.
A couple of months ago, the board for the school approved a partnership with New York-based charter school Democracy Prep.
Many parents with children in the school have been concerned about the takeover. But board members have said that the takeover is crucial to the success of the school.
