Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- On April 5, 2013, the nation’s first LEGOLAND Hotel is opening at LEGOLAND California Resort in San Diego.  The three-story, 250-room LEGOLAND Hotel is designed for families with children ages 2 - 12 and features rooms and suites themed after the most popular LEGOLAND areas: Pirate, Kingdom and Adventure. The hotel includes interactive LEGO models, themed play areas, family pool, kid’s entertainment and more.

LEGOLAND Hotel is giving six lucky youngsters the chance to stay at the hotel for free, as a Junior Concierge.  The contest is open to kids ages 8 - 12, who have a passion for LEGO®.  Each Junior Concierge will come to the hotel for an exclusive day of training that includes a behind-the-scenes orientation, so they can share their knowledge with young guests and advise them on everything cool from a child’s perspective. Each winner will come back with their family at a later date in the year to stay the night for free, enjoy two days at LEGOLAND California Resort and, of course, work their shifts as a Junior Concierge at LEGOLAND Hotel.

Interested children need to have a parent or guardian’s permission to apply.  Applicants are asked to write, in 50 words or less, why they should be a Junior Concierge at LEGOLAND Hotel. All submissions will be accepted online only at and need to be received by February 14, 2013.
