Get ready to hear the bell ringers! The Salvation Army of Southern Nevada is getting ready to kick off their kettle season.
On Saturday, November 17, there will be a walk-a-thon and kick-off celebration at Town Square. UNLV will also donate a portion of ticket sales from Saturday's football game against Wyoming to the Salvation Army. Go to www.salvationarmysouthernnevada.org, or call 702-870-4430 for more information.
The Salvation Army says their kettle campaign during the holiday season provides most of the funds for their operations throughout the year.
