Ethel M Chocolates invites the general public to experience the Nov. 13 Cactus Lighting event by donating a new toy to a child in need.

Recognized as the ultimate holiday destination in Southern Nevada, the 19th Annual Cactus Lighting will be hosted by funny man George Wallace, with holiday performances by famed entertainers Zowie Bowie and former America’s Got Talent winner, Michael Grimm.

Tickets are required to enter the Nov. 13 event.

Starting Nov. 1, a limited amount of tickets will be available at the Ethel M Chocolate factory in Henderson. Ethel M is asking guests to bring one new, unwrapped toy to the Ethel M factory in exchange for a family four-pack of tickets to the Nov. 13 event (limit eight tickets per family).

Toys that are collected from this event will later be donated in the annual KLUC Toy Drive. Toy drop-off will run from Nov. 1 - Nov. 13 at the factory location only and tickets will be distributed on a first-come first-served basis. Guests may also bring a new, unwrapped toy to the Cactus Lighting event in exchange for a family four-pack of tickets, while supplies last.

The 19h Annual Cactus Lighting event will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 5 - 8 p.m. at the three-acre Botanical Cactus Garden adjacent to the Ethel M Chocolate factory in Henderson. The countdown to the lighting of more than half a million colorful lights will take place at approximately 6 p.m.

This annual Southern Nevada tradition is expected to attract thousands of festive chocolate lovers. In addition to the awe-inspiring cactus lighting, the Nov. 13 event will feature photos with Santa, performances by local choirs, chocolate samples, face painters, balloon artists, raffles and more.

Santa photos are free, but a professional photographer will be on hand selling professional images for $10 apiece. Ethel M will sell hot chocolate and bottled water for $1 each, with all proceeds going to the philanthropic organization, Smile Train.

The Ethel M Holiday Cactus Garden will open for the season on Nov. 14 through Jan. 1 and the public is always welcome at no charge. The garden will be lit nightly from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Additionally, visitors can peek in on the factory in full holiday swing, where Ethel M Chocolates are crafted using time-honored methods and only the finest ingredients. No pets please.

The Ethel M Chocolate factory and Botanical Cactus Garden are located at Two Cactus Garden Drive in Henderson.
