The “Hammargren Home of Nevada History” will host its 17th annual Nevada Day Open House on November 4th, from 12-5 pm.

Former Lieutenant Governor Lonnie Hammargren will allow visitors to tour his collection of Nevada artifacts, which include casino signs, props from Las Vegas shows like Phantom and Howard Hughes memorablia. 

Three Nevada icons will also be honored for their contributions to the state's history.  Sheriff Ralph Lamb, Coach Jerry Tarkanian and Thalia Dondero will be presented with official proclamations from Dr. Hammargren at 3 pm. 

The “Hammargren Home of Nevada History” is located at 4318 Ridgecrest Drive in Las Vegas.
