Zombie Run will raise money for education, community and leadership
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Generation Vegas, a recently founded Las Vegas non-profit organization, has announces its first fundraiser: The Las Vegas Zombie Run.
Runners in the 5K, to be held on Oct. 28 at Sunset Park, will be provided flag football-style belts and will need to use their smarts and agility to avoid the zombies plaguing the course. If runners finish the race with any flags, they've made it out alive. If runners lose all of their flags, they will finish the race just like the zombies...dead.
The mission of Generation Vegas is to make Las Vegas a better place for future generations by promoting education, community and leadership. The race is unofficially timed and will take place on the walking trails at Sunset Park. Pre-registration is $40 plus a $3.95 handling fee. Race day registration is $45. Race registration includes a runners bib and flag belt, as well as a complimentary event t-shirt.
