Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Opportunity Village was at Action News Saturday to talk about its gourmet popcorn.
PopShoppe Gourmet Chocolate Covered Popcorn is popped and packaged by citizens with intellectual disabilities at Opportunity Village.
"Choco-Pop" was the first delicious flavor in their line of PopShoppe Gourmet Popcorn. Other flavors include: Peppermint Choco-Pop and Cinnamon Choco-Pop.
The goal of the creations is to help people with disabilities and provide them with employment. If Opportunity Village didn't provide this service or other programs, it may be difficult for them to get jobs.
