Keyboard Conversations
The Smith Center will be hosting "Keyboard Conversations with Jeffrey Siegel: Gershwin and Friends" on Sunday, October 7.
World-class pianist Jeffrey Siegel will present a dazzling, virtuoso performance including such masterpieces as "Rhapsody in Blue" using Gershwin's own rarely heard solo piano arrangement, Aaron Copland's humorous "Cat and the Mouse," Scott Joplin's "Wall Street Rag," the Las Vegas premiere of Leonard Bernstein's unpublished "Meditation on a Wedding" and more. Mr. Siegel will discuss each piece prior to its performance and the concert will end with an Q&A session.
