The countdown to the 2012 Nevada Senior Games is on. The Games are scheduled for Sept. 24 - Oct. 14.
The Nevada Senior Games is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of a healthy lifestyle for adults 50+ through exercise and athletic competition.
The Games have grown to include 21 events, held at various venues throughout the city and an average participating of 1,000 seniors each year.
The mission of the Nevada Senior Games is to promote the health and fitness of adults. Primary emphasis is within the State of Nevada, but welcomes seniors worldwide to participate in activities.
