September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, so Cure 4 The Kids Foundation is hosting a number of fundraising and awareness events through the month.
Cure 4 The Kids Foundation is a 501(c)3 non profit organization that supports two programs: The Children's Specialty Center of Nevada--pediatric outpatient treatment center which treats all children with or without medical insurance; The Hemophilia Treatment Center of Nevada-for those with inherited bleeding disorders.
Businesses at Town Square have come up with different ways to support Cure 4 The Kids. From September 7-9, Texas de Brazil will be donating $2 from each dessert purchased. Patty's Closet will be donating 15% of proceeds from September 8-9. From September 14-16, BRIO will donate proceeds from sales of their Warm Chocolate Cake and Ranch House Kitchen will donate 15% of sales. english's will doante $10 from every $30 gift certificate sold September 21-23. $1 danglers for Cure 4 The Kids will be sold at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf September 28-30.
Cure 4 The Kids Foundation is also hosting a Haircut-a-Thon at Mosiac Salon on West Sahara on September 16, and a Bowl-a-Thon at Suncoast Bowling Center on September 22. For information on all these events, go to www.cure4thekids.org.
