Girl Scout camp inspires youngster

10-year old Zoey Buntjer is looking forward to Girl Scout Camp Foxtail.  It was at camp two years ago that she first picked up a bow and arrow.  Now she has dream of making it to the Olympics as a archer.

The Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada says each 500 girls attend Camp Foxtail each year.  It's a chance for girls to learn different skills and gain self-confidence, while making new friends.  There are also specialized camp sessions that focus on leadership within the Girl Scout initiatives: Environment, Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship, Healthy Living, and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). The camp is located in the cool in the cool Spring Mountain Range, just 45 minutes from Las Vegas
