Non-profit hosting poker tournament to help inner-city youth

(KTNV) -- The Quiet Storm Foundation, a non profit organization that helps inner-city youth, has a number of events coming up.
On Sunday, July 15, they're hosting a Charity Poker Tournament at Green Valley Ranch. The Texas Hold Em competition has a $100 buy in. Proceeds will be used for programs like Hoops for Hope, which is celebrating its tenth year July 19-21.
Hoops for Hope is a free basketball clinic for kids who normally don't play seasonal sports. It's being held at Doolittle Community Center, and includes special programs for parents.
Quiet Storm was started by Las Vegas native CJ Watson, who currently plays on the Chicago Bulls. For more information, go to www.quietstormfoundation.com.
