Tropfest is the world's largest short film festival, and this year it's being held in Las Vegas June 1-3.

The festival began in a Sydney café 20 years ago with one short film and an audience of 200 people. Today the Australian event is attended annually by a live audience of over 150,000 film-lovers and hundreds of thousands more watching via its national, live TV broadcast and other platforms.

In Las Vegas, 16 films will vie for the top prize in the inaugural “All-Star Competition,” to be hosted by Rob Corddry (The Daily Show).  The weekend will feature other free, mostly outdoor events being at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

All Tropfest Las Vegas events are non-ticketed and open to the public. However, reservations are recommended for the All-Star Competition.  Go to www.tropfest.com/vegas.
