Lied Discovery Children’s Museum is hosting the inaugural Queen of Hearts event on February 2 at Crystals at CityCenter.

Queen of Hearts honors 10 remarkable females: one national figure, eight local community leaders and one child “queen in the making” for their selfless giving of time, talent, resources and leadership. The 2012 Queen of Hearts honorees are: Julie Murray (national), Ellie Smith (queen in the making), Michelle Ditondo, Mayor Carolyn Goodman, Robin Greenspun, Joan Lapan, Oleksandra Ruffin, Sonja Saltman, and Lindy Schumacher.

Queen of Hearts, to be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, February 2 at Crystals at CityCenter, will feature Clint Holmes as master of ceremonies and light fare and wine provided by Social House and Southern Wine & Spirits. The event is sponsored by Crystals at CityCenter, Southern Wine & Spirits and Vegas/Rated Magazine, with proceeds benefiting Lied Discovery Children’s Museum.
