Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Sherchenbach Elementary School doesn't do anything half-way. On voting day, their school brings in real voting booths from Clark County; the same ones we use in every election.
School administrators said the real voting booths help students get excited about the civic process.
The future of Sherchenbach rides on these votes; they're voting for their student body president and the students take this seriously.
Dr. Kimberly Hammond is proud to be the principal at the school, Election Day and every day, she sees a thriving student body that will one day go on to do great things.
Maria Stubs, who vowed to get students better toilet paper, won the election. Like any good politician, she wants to thank her supporters, including her twin brother.
