Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation is hosting is 7th annual bone marrow drive on Oct. 17 and 20.

NCCF is seeking the community's help to find bone marrow matches for critically-ill children in Southern Nevada whose life-threatening illnesses can only be cured through a bone marrow transplant.

The drive will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 17 at the student union courtyard and student health center on the University of Nevada, Las Vegas campus.

The drive on Oct. 20 will be held at the Danny Gans Champion Run For Life Event at Discovery park, 2011 Paseo Verde Parkway, Henderson.

Jeff Gordon, the president of NCCF, and Angel Sotelo appeared on Action News at Midday on Oct. 15 to talk about the event.
