Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Palazzo and Southwest Airlines are joining up with the Armed Forces Foundation to offer wounded veterans a weekend in Las Vegas.
Representatives organizing the event joined Action News Live @ Midday to talk about the program.
"The sacrifices our service members and their families make for our country cannot be overstated," said Patricia Driscoll, president and executive director of the Armed Forces Foundation. "They rise to the occasion each and every day, so when corporations like The Palazzo Las Vegas, Southwest Airlines and Omaha Steaks unite to recognize that sacrifice by rolling out the red carpet to treat these service members to a VIP weekend in Las Vegas, that is truly special."
The weekend for wounded troops takes place May 16-19.
