Look out Washington... here comes Robbie!
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A Las Vegas elementary school kid is heading to Washington.
Robbie Peccole is a fifth grader at Dean Allen Elementary school, but he's been selected to attend the 2013 Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington next week. Robbie got the honor because he's a leader already at his school among his peers.
Robbie told us, "I think a leader is someone who takes everybody's ideas and tries to put them to work."
Teacher Joy Hollander nominated Robbie to go to Washington. She says, "He's a natural leader. He is a great thinker and I knew he would benefit from this leadership conference."
Robbie told us he plans to use the skills he learns at the conference to make Las Vegas a better place to live. That is until he becomes president of the United States.
