A vehicle carrying a possible suspect in a bank robbery has crashed on the 215 beltway between South Durango Drive and Buffalo Road.
Las Vegas police say that the bank robbery happened around 1:37 p.m. in the 3600 block of West Russell Road, east of Valley View Boulevard.
The vehicle was being followed by a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department air unit when it crashed.
The eastbound lanes were closed until the scene could be cleared.
The suspect was taken to University Medical Center for minor injuries. He was also placed under arrest.
