A condominium in North Las Vegas is considered a total loss after a 2-alarm fire near Civic Center Drive and Gowan Road early Saturday morning.
North Las Vegas Fire Department received multiple calls around 5:15 a.m. regarding a fire on the first and second floor of a condominium. When officials arrived, the building was engulfed in flames. No one was home at the time.
It took firefighters approximately 25 minutes to knock down the initial fire, according to NLVFD Captain Williams.
A total of six people from adjacent units are displaced, and no injuries have been reported. Damage was estimated at $250,000.

Around 12:30 p.m. Saturday, the NLVFD announced that they were investigating the incident as an arson fire. Anyone with information about this incident should contact Captain Williams at 702-292-9127.
