Police are investigating a fatal crash near Tropicana Avenue and Rainbow Boulevard Tuesday afternoon.
The crash occurred just before 1 p.m. involving a U-Haul and a white Oldsmobile. Police said it appeared that the Oldsmobile tried to turn left from a parking lot in front of the U-Haul truck.

Police said two people were transported to UMC Trauma Center, the driver with critical injuries. Police later reported that the 50-year-old male driver from Bethlehem, Pa., died. He was identified as Anthony Barbaro.
The 68-year-old female passenger of the Oldsmobile has multiple broken bones but is expected to survive.
The 33-year-old U-Haul driver remained on scene.
Police said that alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors.
All eastbound lanes of Tropicana Avenue are shut down at Rainbow Boulevard.
