A man who worked around kids at the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy has been arrested on child pornography charges.

Special agents say 26 - year - old Nahm Thai was caught with 4,6000 images of child porn.

He worked as a student teacher and is majoring in education at UNLV.

The grandparent of a child who attends the academy wishes officials would have known sooner.

"You know they could do something better to know who's coming to be with our children," said grandparent Herster Jackson.

If convicted, Thai faces up to 20 years in prison and hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines.
