
According to the Nevada Gaming Control Board, gambling growth is down for a record eighth straight month in August.
Casinos won $934 million in August, that is compared to just over $1 billion the same month one year ago.
It is a statewide decline of 8.1%.
The decline was sharpest in Southern Nevada, where revenues declined 9.4%, with revenues of $759 million for August.
