Metro is searching for suspects after shots were fired between several vehicles in a quiet neighborhood.
It happened around 10am near Jones and Cheyenne.
Neighbors say they heard several gunshots and saw at least three cars race down the street.
One was abandoned near Cumorah Academy, which went on lock down for two hours while police searched the area.
A man with gunshot wounds to his lower body checked into an area hospital Thursday morning.
Metro is trying to determine if he was involved, but no arrests have been made.
