What Is Simpson's Memorabilia Worth?

A California judge denied a request from Ron Goldman's father to gain possession of the memorabilia from the alleged Palace Station robbery.

Even if the Goldman's were awarded the O.J. Simpson memorabilia, it may not be worth that much.

It all depends on who you ask.

Local sports memorabilia stores say Simpson has not been a hot commodity in decades and this latest incident has not changed that.

Field of Dreams, one of the largest sports memorabilia stores in the nation, says Simpson items do not sell and it has not for years.

Joshua Skidmore of Field of Dreams says, "You won't find anything Michael Vick or OJ Simpson.  We're not going to put them on the wall if we don't believe in them morally or athletically".

Pete Rose may be controversial in some people's minds, but his items still sell.

Simpson items can be found online ranging in price from just a few dollars to thousands.

Ultimately, the worth of any sports memorabilia is determined by the buyer.

Skidmore says the major difference between Michael Vick and O.J. Simpson is that Vick was in his prime when he got in trouble, and still mainstream collectors are not buying his items.

That is why neither athletes memorabilia is carried in Field of Dreams.
