Picasso's Ceramic Works Displayed At Bellagio

Not everyone can afford to buy their own Picasso.

But valley residents recently received a rare and precious gift from the Picasso family.

Bernard Ruiz-Picasso, grandson of the legendary artist, loaned more than 30 unique ceramics crafted by Pablo Picasso to the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art.

Five years in the making, the exhibition called "In the Master's Hands" showcases one of the most beloved and secret pursuits of the revolutionary artist...ceramics.

The exhibit highlights Picasso's innate ability to join painting, sculpture and clay into a single discipline.

The works are coupled with intimate photos of his life in the south of France where he lived while creating the masterpieces.

Ruiz-Picasso bears the pedigree and responsibility of preserving the Picasso legacy.

Although legend to US, Picasso was simply a warm and loving grandfather to young Bernard.

The unprecedented exhibition of ceramic masterpieces by Picasso will be on display through early January 2008.
