The search for a missing California woman is taking center stage in southern Nevada.
The 25-year old woman suffers from bipolar disorder. Her family hasn't seen her since last September.
That's when Mitrice Richardson was arrested by Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputies, for failing to pay her bill at a Malibu restaurant. She was released from the sheriff's station that night, and seemed to vanish after that. L-A deputies will be holding a joint press conference with Metro this morning, to see if possible sightings of Richardson here in the valley are true. Her family has doubts.
Richardson's father says it was only after he filed a lawsuit against the sheriffs department, saying they should have kept his daughter in custody for medical evaluations... That they decided to come here to Las Vegas.
