
Nellis Air Force Base, NV (KTNV) - Four times a year nearly 26,000 airmen from around the world come together to train at Nellis Air Force Base. Wednesday, an Action News photographer got a rare opportunity to see a crucial part of that training firsthand.
Mid - air refueling training with a tanker is crucial for fighter pilots. More than 70 pilots leave Nellis twice a day to work on refueling missions. Red flag exercises are conducted four times a year at Nellis.
