Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) - Mayor Goodman announced this afternoon that, legally, he cannot follow through with his proposal to fire city workers and re-hire them to a 4-day work week.

After consulting with the City Attorney and two other outside attorneys, he was informed that it was a move that would not be feasible.

The mayor also announced that city union leaders are not budging on their stance to reject any pay cuts for workers and, because of that, 146 layoff notices were sent out today to city workers
