Las Vegas, NV - Shoppers parking in an empty lot near the Las Vegas Premium Outlets were shocked to return and find their cars gone.
"They waited until the parking lot was at its fullest, at capacity, and then they started pulling cars," says Keshia Sims, who returned with her two young children to find her car missing.
"When we parked there was at least 60 cars there. Came back and the cars were completely gone," says Andrea Monteverde.
There are two small 'no parking' signs on a fence at the MLK and Alta vacant lot, but they could be easily missed if blocked by cars.
"There was other cars in the parking not but I did not see a sign," says Mike Gehner, echoing other drivers.
After a $30 cab ride across town to the impound lot, dozens of drivers found themselves still without their cars.
"We come here and our car is nowhere to be found," says Gehner. "We've been here two hours."
Their cars being held elsewhere until they paid the bill... $330, in cash, exact change only.
That 330 bucks includes extra charges like a $50 'after hours' fee since the Friday after Thanksgiving is considered a holiday.
"He really didn't have an answer for us," says Pamela Clelland, when she asked about the $140 dollars in total extra charges.
She had no choice but to pay to get her car back and is filing a complaint.
While it doesn't appear "Tow Guys," the towing company, has done anything illegal, we contacted them to hear their side anyway.
Their phone did not have an answering machine and just kept on ringing.
"It's the day for them," says Sims, who feels like she was duped by the tow company. "Today is their black Friday."
