Sheryl Crow fights horse round ups in Nevada and other areas

Updated:

Grammy award winner Sheryl Crow is joining the fight against wild horse round ups in the west.

Crow opposes a federal plan to move thousands of wild horses to reserves in the Midwest and east, to protect horse herds and the rangelands that support them.

Officials with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management say booming numbers of the breed are damaging the range.
