Restored bridge opens in Nevada

Updated:

Good news for folks in Mesquite and Bunkerville, both in Nevada.

A bridge between the two cities opens Wednesday.

The Riverside Road bridge was damaged by flooding in 2005.

It was strengthened and expanded and a bike and pedestrian trail was added.

The project cost about 11 and a half million dollars, and put 50 people to work for 10 months.
