Second grader brings gun to bus stop & shoots a parked car near Wigwam & Decatur

LAS VEGAS, NV - Clark County School Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Friday morning at a bus stop near Wigwam and Decatur.  A child brought a loaded gun to a bus stop and showed it to some other kids, while they were waiting for a bus at around 8:15am this morning. 

According to School Police, the second grader, a 7 year old boy, took the gun and intentionally fired it at a parked car in the area.  No one was injured in the shooting.  The gun was found by police in some bushes near the bus stop.  The 7 year old and another student are being questioned by police. 

At this time, neither student will be charged in this incident.  According to School Police, in the state of Nevada you must be at least 8 years old to be charged with a crime.  There is no word on whether or not a parent or guardian will be charged.
