More motorcycle riders are being killed on Las Vegas roads this year, compared to last year.

According to Metro, there have been 19 deadly motorcycle accidents so far this year. That's compared to only 12 all of last year.

The most recent accident happened over the weekend near Lake Mead and Hill Center when a motorcyclist slid into a van.

Metro says most of the deadly accidents have been speed related.
