Action News received a lot of phone calls from people just after 3:00 am, wondering what was going on. So, Sunday afternoon Action News Anchor, Tiffani Sargent took a trip to Boulder City to get some first-hand accounts of how it felt.

Siblings, Donny and Brittany Farris say they were doing homework and reading respectively when they felt the tremor.

Brittany says, she was really freaked because she was reading "Twilight" at the time, and she could hear coyotes howling outside their home.

Tiffani asked, "How long did it last? Did it happen quickly?"

and Brittany replied,"It was pretty quickly, maybe three or four seconds...five seconds maybe."

Meantime, in a nearby neighborhood others say they felt it too.

Tiffani asks, "Bryan Ellerman, you said that you're from the LA area you've lived through some of those big earthquakes. explain what you heard and felt this morning?"

And Bryan says,"Well as I felt in the past you hear a little rumbling and this was pretty slight, but then there was a big boom, and then the house rattles, you can hear some of our dishes rattle."

Fortunately, there haven't been any reports of any injuries or damage in the area.

Donny says, "The whole ground started shaking and the house started shaking and me and Brit were like just white like omg what happened?"

But, you may recall, that a number of people around Boulder City also felt a stronger 3.9 magnitude earthquake last month, which was centered in Northwest Arizona.
