A man allegedly stabs his wife to death while the couple's four children looks on.

The attack happened Saturday morning at the couple's home on Otis Court, near Tenaya and Alexander.

Neighbors say screaming and fighting could be heard from the house for months, and had recently escalated.

"Over the last month I noticed that the cops had been here on more than one occasion because of the fighting," says neighbor Lindsay, who did not give her last name.

"When they get into it, she's usually screaming very very loudly. They just go at it," says Lindsay.

Police say a 12 year-old girl, the oldest of four kids in the home, ran next door to call 911 after Saturday morning's stabbing.

The wife was found dead inside the home and the husband was arrested as the primary suspect.

No official motive has been released but neighbors have been talking.

"I has been my understanding that he thought she was having an affair," says Lindsay.

Whatever caused the fight, four children are now left without a mother and their father is behind bars.

The children are being cared for by child services.
