You Ask update: Police find stolen house

Updated:

Thanks to a tip from one our our viewers, police have found a specially designed house that was stolen back in August. The house is actually a cargo shipping container outfitted with a kitchen, bathroom and enough space to sleep ten people. The owner says it was created as a prototype to help house the homeless or families during a disaster.

After our story aired Thursday night, someone called police with a tip. The house was found Friday on a construction lot near Fort Apache and Lone Mountain. The owner says there's a lot of vandalism but he's happy to have it back. Police are still invesitgating who took the home, and as far as we know, no arrests have been made.
