
US and Egyptian authorities have charged nearly 100 people including three Las Vegans with helping an identity theft ring steal money from thousands of bank accounts.
Most of the arrests were made in California. The FBI says the suspects ran a phishing scheme to pull money out of the victims' bank accounts.
Agents say they'd wait for people to respond to an -email directing them to a bogus web site where they were asked to update personal information.
