
A piece of Southern Nevada's history has fallen victim to the economy.
The historic Boulder Dam Hotel in Boulder City will close tomorrow, until further notice.
Operators say they're out of money and need to raise more than a quarter million dollars by mid-September.
The hotel opened in 1933 while the Boulder Dam, renamed Hoover Dam, was being built.
Ironically, that was right in the middle of the Great Depression.
