The Animal Foundation's April Volunteer Orientation

  • Print

Have you always wanted to help lost, unwanted and abandoned pets in Southern Nevada? Consider becoming a volunteer for The Animal Foundation, and experience the rewarding feeling of helping pets in need. Before deciding if volunteering at The Animal Foundation is right for you, join us for an informational orientation in the Fitness Room of the East Las Vegas Community Center from 2 – 3 pm. Seating is limited. Guarantee your seat by getting your free Eventbrite ticket on our Events Calendar at! At orientation, you will learn about The Animal Foundation, our mission, our challenges and the many ways you can “pawsitively” affect the lives of our furry (and some not-so-furry) residents. You will receive our Volunteer Handbook to take away with you, but please bring a pen to take notes. AGE REQUIREMENTS: 12 is the minimum age for volunteers. Please do not bring younger children. 12-15 year olds MUST be accompanied by the parent/guardian who will accompany and supervise them when volunteering. 16 and 17 year olds may attend alone.

Occurs once: Apr 5, 2014 (2:00 PM to 3:00 PM)
