More than 100 Las Vegas Paiute, Moapa Paiute, Chemehuevi, and Panamint Shoshone Indian baskets will be on display at the Clark County Museum. The baskets were created in Southern Nevada between 1880 and 1930. Tribal Treasures marks the first time the museum's entire basket collection has been shown as part of one exhibit. The museum's collection of Southern Paiute basketry from the late 1800s to the early 1900s time period is the largest of its kind in public hands.
