Free Ancestor Search Day

  • Print

The Clark County Nevada Genealogical Society in conjunction with the Henderson Paseo Verde Library will offer a "Free Ancestor Search" to the general public. Find out where your family ancestor lived, who was in the family at the time, their ages, their nationality and MORE! The event will take place Sat. Oct. 5th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the library located at 280 S. Green Valley Pkwy.

The public is invited to simply walk in with no reservations required. A volunteer from the CCNGS will attempt to research a family ancestor of your choice for you (your grandfather, grandmother, great-grandfather, etc.) free of charge. Find out where they lived, who was in the family at the time, their ages, their nationality, their occupation immigration information, maybe their income level and MORE! However, because of the "fuzzy" nature of genealogy research, no guarantees can be made. Class will be held in the Training Room. Event is free and open to the public.

Occurs once: Oct 5, 2013 (10:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

Paseo Verde Library
280 S. Green Valley Parkway, Henderson, Nevada 89012

Ticket Price: free and open to the public
