19th Annual "Serenades of Life - Doctors in Concert" for Nathan Adelson Hospice

Popular celebrity performers and the local medical community are gearing up to showcase their singing and musical talents this fall to raise funds for Nathan Adelson Hospice. Clint Holmes, Bella Electric Strings and local medical professionals will be taking the stage during the 19th Annual “Serenades of Life - Doctors in Concert” event to benefit Nevada’s largest non-profit hospice. Actor/Comedian Brad Garrett will conduct a special introduction to kick off the night’s entertainment, and Mayor Carolyn Goodman and former Mayor Oscar Goodman will serve as the masters of ceremony. The event will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sep. 21 at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. “The event this year will feature several notable performers, and we are truly honored that they are participating and supporting our non-profit hospice,” said Carole Fisher, president and chief executive officer of Nathan Adelson Hospice. “We are thrilled to once again hold the event at The Smith Center; it will be a wonderful evening.” Aside from the notable Brad Garrett, Bella Electric Strings and Clint Holmes, other performers include: Alan Arnold, M.D., Nancy Hsiao, M.D., Morton Hyson, M.D., Robert Lieberman, M.D., Dr. Loren Little with his Jazz Band, Linda Woodson, M.D. and Alter’d Ego featuring Edwin Kingsley. Musical numbers will range from soul to rock ‘n’ roll to opera. Proceeds from the concert support The Bonnie Schreck Memorial Complementary Therapies program at Nathan Adelson Hospice. The program improves quality of life for the hospice’s patients and loved ones and eases emotional and physical discomfort. Patients and their loved ones may request various therapies such as Pet Therapy, Reiki Energy Work, Message Therapy, Art Therapy, Reflexology and Aromatherapy.
